
International Gay Pride Day
Buenos Aires: No doubt, the argentinian capital is the most important gayfriendly city in South America. Widely open, widely tolerant, on 28th. June the rainbow flag was raised at the Obelisc in Buenos Aires, to recall the anniversary of Stonewall Riots.
The ceremony was organized by the Human Rights Secretary and Cultural Plurism and General Direction and Diversity.
Every June 28ht is celebrated, all around the world the gay pride to seek publicly, and set tolerance and equality of this community.
The traditional “Gay Parade”, in B.A. is celebrated a the beginning of November – maybe it’s a matter of climate- since 1997 as a reminder of the foundation of “Nuevo Mundo” (New World) the very first homosexual group from Argentina and Latin America.
